PRE-PROFESSIONAL
LAW PROGRAM

The WrightChoice Pre-Professional Law Program is an 8-week immersive rotational experience for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a legal career. Students gain first-hand exposure to different areas of law while building confidence, professional skills, and mentor relationships that open doors to internships and career opportunities.

Rotational Experience

Students engage with big firms, solo practitioners, corporate counsel, nonprofit attorneys, government lawyers, and judges.

Students learn about diverse legal career paths, helping them make informed decisions about their futures.

Each student is paired with mentors who provide real-world insights, encouragement, and access to professional networks.

Professional Development

Weekly workshops cover resume writing, interviewing, legal research, courtroom etiquette, and communication skills.

Law School Visits

Student tour law schools, Connect with faculty,and experience campus life—helping them envision their next step and prepare for the admissions process.

Who Should Apply?

College sophomores – recent graduates (must have graduated the spring prior to the

application season). All are welcomed and we encourage first generation students and those from under resourced communities to apply.

WrightChoice Pre-Professional Law Program occurs in-person across

Central Ohio from Mid-May through July. 

Additional details: 

Application deadline is February 15th

Selected applicants must be available to interview during the below timeframes.

Interview Schdule:

30-minute in-person interviews will be held on Saturday, March 7th

30-minute virtual interviews will be held on Sunday, March 8th for students outside of Central Ohio

Minimum GPA 3.0 with demonstrated campus

and community involvement.

Students eager to gain real-world exposure to

the legal profession before law school.
